Riding Ferries w/ Belgiums

I'm continuing to add bullets of different, yet interesting short points in my life. I met up w/ this group and had a quite good conversation w/ a few of them. This was on one of my recent trips around country. I've got some focus going w/ some direction on certain work I am doing. I've got English teaching coming up next month. Friends from the states are here, and enjoying their stay. US plays Ghana tomorrow. We can do it. If we win, and Italy beats Czech, then we advance, and play Brazil. Health is at a medium, but okay, got a nurse on me w/ meds, so it's all good.

The Key of Life

In ancient pharaonic times they had a symbol in which they called the key of life. This is what I am holding, the key of life to the door of a temple in one of my recent travels. You would see on the carvings on the walls w/i the hands of many of the ancient Egyptians. If that's not a good conversation starter, then there's not one. My health is medium, and looking to get back into more Arabic studies. Mav's are up 2-0, yes siree, Nadal smacked Federer, and the US were humiliated in the 3-0 loss to Czech, but there not out....yet.

Ever played chess w/ a Norwegian?

I recently have been doing some traveling around country, from the very north, down to the very south here. It sure isn't as big as Texas, but it takes a while to go from one side to another. I made some friends w/ my traveling, in fact, I played chess w/ a Norwegian. I lost, but it was in a neutral country, so there was no homeboard advantage. I sure have seen some sights, and will be able to tell about them come August, they were quite amazing. The weather was rather warm as well, it was about 122 degrees in the southern part of the country a few days ago, when I was down there. The Norwegian is the guy on the right in the photo and the guy on the left is a guy from W. Virgina. This is the first guy that I have ever met from that state. He doesn't even mine for a living, unbelievable. Mav's won game one, yes sir, French Open finals are here, and the World Cup started yesterday, come on States.

I "Remember" My 21st Birthday

It has been awhile, and it will be a few days before my next post, but I've done a lot this past week and will these next few days, checking out the sites and sand. I few days ago was my 21st birthday, June 1. It was super. My host family held a suprise birthday party for me at the bowling alley w/ some friends. I didn't bowl too well, but the other day I had a p.r., 173. Yeah buddy, I was excited. I don't mean to brag, but hey, I'm a man now. Those candles, were a shawaya saab (little difficult). I think it took about 8 breaths, I think that's a p.r. too. I'm healthy and soon will have more lessons on this language, the past couple of weeks have been tough to schedule, but looking good here in a few days when I get back from my 3 day trip to some super sites. Hooty hoo for the Mav's for me.
